Musically I definitely prefer version one, much preferred the guitar on this.

Lyrically, the first line is brilliant - "Your name is a refuge and I'm a refugee' - loved that line! And you kept the theme of the song consistent throughout - the comparisons of taking refuge in God with those physical earthly places that we normally associate with strength. I was slightly troubled by the ethereal, unreal nature of 'Your name' as a refuge but this is probably because I like to visualise things and you can't visualise this (compared to a harbour etc.) - I guess a non-Christian would have trouble understanding this, but it's a small point.

PS Great use of the word 'bastion', should be used in more songs.

I like version 1 better but only cause two was alittle higher for me to sing with. I think two sounds stronger with a bongo or somthing it would really take off. Love the guitar sounds!

Keep it coming!

I like both versions of this song. I like version 2 a little better. It's got a little more punch I think. Flows really nice. I love to hear your music. I am looking forward to hearing more. Keep up the good work.

I definately like version number 2. Flows real nice with the melody. I like the words of this song although it needs a djemba in the background. I was playing one in my mind along with you. God bless Ben
