There's a real psalmic totally relying on God thing that's going on in all the songs to date, in my opinion. Which is fine. Lyrically all the songs have been lifted from the Bible (or sound like they have), which again is fine, but I want you to be writing straight from the heart too. If I could issue you a challenge it would be to disregard the Bible entirely on one of your songs and write something about where you're at and what you want God to know about it (I'm thinking Hungry was written in this kind of place). Please don't think I'm being heretical - your songs are great so far but this would be a challenge for you, I think (lyrically).

About this song, I could see you taking it in two very different directions. One would be to strip it down, slow it down and play on piano. That would be quite interesting. The other is to amp it up a bit, using all of Andy Young's guitar pedals and making some strange and mystical and awesome sounds (reflecting the everlasting God theme).

What a great reminder of God's faithfulness! I love this song! I don't recall hearing one like it, so I think the tune sounds familiar because it has been in your head for a time. God bless you Andy and thanks so much for sharing your songs with me and allowing me to give you some input. Keep up the great work for great will be your reward!

I always like your words as they are straight out of the Bible. I thought the strumming was a bit rough even though I know this is a simple recording. The longer I listened the more it seemed to work. The chorus doesn't seem copied from anything and I've heard a lot of songs.

I like this song, too. It has worthwhile content to meditate upon.
I think, though, that it could use some irregularity in it. Just a thought.
I am really enjoying hearing these songs and I think that it is very generous of you to include all of us in this process. Thank you again! May God bless you.
