Sorry Andy, I've only just viewed this videa, having been very busy lately.

I really like this version. I also like yours, but I think it really works well with the more up-tempo. It's repitition would make for easy involved praise.

God bless

It's Faye here...
My thinking in the change to an upbeat tempo: It's for celebrating the fact that we have been forgiven...traded up, so to speak. Liturgical churches allow time at the beginning of worship for silent confession with a minister who then declares our sin absolved b/c of the work of the cross. Charasmatic churches don't really have that process, but usually launch into praise right at the start. So this song is trying to accomplish both: position the believer to "come clean" because of the blood of Jesus at the beginning of the worship service while entering His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
If you'll go to my website or myspace and give me your emails, I can send the chord chart.
 Thank you for responding!
Blessings,
Faye Smith

Certainly a different direction than the original. I like the chorus - very good lyrics and ideas / images. Although I ask the question - 'does the up-beat rhythm fit a repentance song?' - maybe it does. The chorus certainly works but I'm struggling with the verses being done 'full tilt'.

Hey Domhnall,

Yep. I plan to get around to that however as many of the songs are still in re-write phase I'm going to wait 'til they're nearly done

Cheers - Andy

I was wondering if you would be willing to post the lyrics, and chords for your tunes. I couldn't quite make out all the words you were singing on some of the tunes. It would be great to be able to share this wonderful music.
